INTERIOR DESIGN IN LONGWOOD, FLORIDA
LONGWOOD INTERIOR DESIGN, FROM A FIRM BASED HERE
Full-service interiors, furnishings, kitchens, baths and renovations from Moxie's Longwood office.
Longwood is home to Moxie Design Group. From here, Sueann and the team work with homeowners on everything from focused room updates and full-home furnishings to kitchens, bathrooms and larger renovations. Every project begins with the client's goals, the home itself and how much they want to change, giving each Longwood project a design direction that feels personal rather than predetermined.
HOME OF MOXIE DESIGN GROUP
INTERIOR DESIGN FOR LONGWOOD HOMES
Longwood sits just north of Orlando in Seminole County, but it has its own character. The city's Historic District covers roughly 190 acres and includes dozens of contributing historic structures, while the broader Longwood area also includes established residential communities and homes built during Central Florida's later waves of growth.

That variety gives Moxie a wide range of starting points. A historic home may need a focused update, a larger residence may be ready for full furnishings or a major renovation, and a previously remodeled home may need the layout and finishes brought back into one clear direction. Moxie builds the scope around the client's vision, whether that means working with existing features or taking the home somewhere completely new.

Longwood's historic core includes nineteenth-century structures such as the Bradlee-McIntyre House, a Queen Anne-style winter cottage, and the distinctive Inside-Outside House. The city later grew into a primarily residential community as Central Florida expanded through the second half of the twentieth century.
For Moxie, that variety means there is no single Longwood look. Some clients want to incorporate architectural details they already love. Others want a cleaner, more modern interior or a larger renovation that changes the way the home looks and functions. Layouts, cabinetry, lighting, finishes and furnishings can all be developed around the direction the homeowner wants to take.

Existing detials can become part of the desing when they support the direction the client wants
NEW POSSIBILITIES
Layouts, cabinetry, lighting and finishes can be completely reworked when the project calls for a bigger change.

LONGWOOD, FLORIDA
A NEW DIRECTION FOR THE HOME
A RENOVATION BUILT AROUND THE WAY THE HOMEOWNERS LIVE
The homeowner’s vision for this Heathrow residence was clear: a welcoming place to entertain, a comfortable retreat for downtime and an interior with a distinctly masculine feel. Moxie brought that direction to life through rich wood tones, contrasting finishes, custom details and lighting that gives each room its own atmosphere.
In the main living and dining area, tall illuminated shelving and a dramatic fireplace surround create a striking backdrop for gathering. Comfortable seating and a generous dining table balance the scale of the architecture, while the kitchen offers extensive counter seating and a separate beverage station for easy hosting.
The poker room takes the design in a moodier direction, pairing a geometric ceiling and studded wall panels with a glowing bar backdrop. A separate family lounge offers a softer place to unwind, complete with a sectional, fireplace and illuminated built-in seating nook. In the bathroom, dark finishes, warm wood and a sculptural freestanding tub continue the home’s more intimate side.

COMMON LONGWOOD DESIGN NEEDS
WHERE GOOD DESIGN CAN MAKE THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE
Longwood projects can range from focused room updates to large renovations. These are some of the situations where homeowners often benefit from bringing a designer into the conversation.
01
RENOVATING AN ESTABLISHED HOME
When a kitchen, bathroom or living area no longer fits the way the home is used, Moxie can rethink the layout, storage, cabinetry, lighting, sightlines and finishes together. That can mean a targeted redesign or a much larger transformation.
02
STARTING WITH WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE
If there are furniture pieces, finishes or architectural details you love, Moxie can build them into the new design. If the room needs a completely fresh direction, it can start there instead. The scope is based on what you want the finished space to become.
03
ADDING CUSTOM ARCHITECTURAL DETAILS
Built-ins, millwork, ceiling treatments, cabinetry and custom TV walls can solve practical problems while giving a room a much stronger identity. The goal is for those features to feel like they belong in the home rather than being added as decoration.
04
FURNISHING A ROOM OR AN ENTIRE HOME
Scale and placement matter just as much as individual furniture selections. Moxie's full-service furnishings work can include space planning, furniture, lighting, procurement, artwork, accessories and final white-glove installation.
