NORTHSHORE

Palm Coast, Florida | Kitchen & Primary Bathroom Renovation

North Shore is a second residence near the coast that was ready for a major transformation. The existing kitchen was dark, brown and dated, and the homeowners wanted something brighter that felt more at home in the coastal setting.

Moxie developed the full renovation design concept for the kitchen and primary bathroom, with construction completed by the project trades. In the kitchen, the layout was opened up and the cabinetry was completely rethought. A pantry that had been hidden behind faux cabinetry became part of a more open plan, while blue, white and gold finishes gave the room a fresher direction.

The homeowners also wanted high-end appliances with some personality, including Big Chill pieces that brought in the café-inspired look they liked. Because the kitchen was highly customized, the appliance selections, cabinetry and finishes all needed to work together from the start.

The primary bathroom received an equally dramatic update. Custom cabinetry, an oversized round tub and an open shower changed both the look and the feeling of the room, giving the homeowners the lighter coastal atmosphere they wanted for their second home.

North Shore shows what a full kitchen and bathroom renovation can accomplish when the layout, cabinetry, fixtures and finishes are designed as one complete plan.
