STANTHORNE

Eagle Creek / Lake Nona, Florida | Residential Interior Redesign

Stanthorne was an existing home in Eagle Creek where the goal was not to start over, but to give key areas of the house a stronger design direction while making good use of pieces the homeowners already owned.

Moxie developed the overall design concept and helped with furniture placement throughout the spaces being updated. One of the biggest architectural changes was the staircase, which was customized with a cleaner, more modern look designed specifically for the client.

The foyer became another focal point. Ceiling paneling and oversized pendant lights brought more attention to the height of the space, while the door colors and geometric gray details tied back into the wider palette of the home.

Upstairs, Moxie also worked on the bedroom used by the homeowner’s niece, finalizing wallpaper, fixtures and additional design details to give the room its own personality. Similar finishing work carried into the dining room.

Stanthorne is a good example of how an interior designer in Lake Nona can rethink a lived-in home without requiring every piece to be replaced. Existing furniture, new architectural details, lighting, color and room planning all became part of the same redesign.
